CWEC Background
Founded in 2001, the Children's Water Education Council (CWEC) is a charitable organization of water and educational professionals. The Council has a simple mandate; to respect our water sources and preserve it for future generations through greater awareness and appreciation for this vital life force.
The organization promotes community based environmental education by working with local organizations. CWEC facilitates unique water-based programs designed for children that are hands-on and interactive. Currently there are over 25 Children's Water Festival across the province of Ontario, that are supported by CWEC.
